Worship and Bible Study

9:30 a.m.

Come join us this week.

Bible Study

6:30 p.m.

We Christians at the Heartland church of Christ invite you to join us in studying God's word. We assemble every Lord's Day (Sunday) to worship our God through hymns of praise, prayer, Scripture reading, partaking of the Lord's Supper, and preaching.

We may seem a little different than you are used to, because we sing songs of praise acappella, just as Christians did in the first century (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19). We remember our Lord's sacrifice through communion every first day of the week, just as Christians did in the first century (Acts 20:7). We do not tithe as the Jews were commanded to do, but give back a portion that God has prospered us with, just as Christians in the first century did (1 Corinthians 16:-12; 2 Corinthians 9:5-7).

It is for this reason that we consider ourselves, PRE-Denominational. The church of Christ existed before denominations, and therefore are 'before' or 'Pre' denominational. Our only source of authority is God's Word, the Bible. As God commanded us NOT to add to His word (Revelation 22:18-19; Deuteronomy 4:2), we have not taken it upon ourselves to violate His command by adding a creed book, catechism, statement of faith, church manual or any other addition to what God has given us.

We take very seriously, what God commands, and try very hard not to violate His will. Our goal is to assist one another in reaching our heavenly home, as well as to help as many souls who desire to know the truth. We encourage you to please visit us and find out for yourself what we believe and teach.
